When Alfred Buck Senior founded his company in 1958, he had no idea that it would one day develop into one of the leading international companies in the sector of special knitting systems. Alfred Buck had already demonstrated his skills as a developer of knitting machines for carpet yarns. He caused a sensation with his innovative special knitting system "Konträrtechnik", on which BUCK's success is based.
To this day, we are passionate about knitting - with stainless steel, glass fibers, carbon fibers and basalt fibers. And with almost any other material. For three generations, we have never stopped researching, developing and inventing - to help our customers move forward.

The best example of this: We manufacture the machines with which we process our numerous materials in-house. This makes us highly flexible and fast. Bondorf (Germany)
Location with tradition: We feel at home in the Swabian town of Bondorf. Not only is our BuckLAB located here, where we experiment with new materials and develop prototypes, but also numerous manufacturing facilities from our own development and production. Our employees on site manage series deliveries, manage logistics and organization, and take care of customers enquiries. With the construction of our new factory and warehouse, we have also sent a clear signal towards the future.
Blythewood (USA)
The American market appreciates technical know-how from Germany more than ever. That's why we established our location in South Carolina, BUCK Enterprises LLC in Blythewood, in 1996. We also regularly exchange ideas with American experts there. In this way, we constantly gain new impressions that give our customers and us in Germany a competitive advantage - but also the other way around.
