Your specialist for technical knitting products.
When Alfred Buck Senior founded his company in 1958, he had no idea that it would one day develop into one of the leading international companies in the sector of special knitting systems. Alfred Buck had already demonstrated his skills as a developer of knitting machines for carpet yarns. He caused a sensation with his innovative special knitting system "Konträrtechnik", on which BUCK's success is based.
To this day, we are passionate about knitting - with stainless steel, glass fibers, carbon fibers and basalt fibers. And with almost any other material. For three generations, we have never stopped researching, developing and inventing - to help our customers move forward.
Values, principles, and our philosophy.
Buck GmbH & Co. KG pursues a growth course aligned with market conditions. Long-term and stable customer and supplier relationships, respectful behavior internally and externally as well as the continuous increase of the company value are important keystones of the corporate strategy aligned with the principle of sustainable business. Buck's goal is to offer every customer worldwide high product quality, optimal service, innovative ideas, and know-how in product development.
A value-oriented corporate culture is both very precious and rare. For this reason, we will do in the future exactly what has always been done since the company was founded: Buck will live its values and guiding principles, further develop them and strengthen them because we want to earn the trust of all customers and employees: again and again - every day! We are innovative, quality-conscious, and customer-oriented. All these values not only ensure a great working atmosphere, but at the same time, they are the basis for continuous success. All of this is supported by the performance and motivation of our employees.
As an innovative technology company with a long tradition, we are specialized in knitting brittle and fragile fibers/materials such as carbon fiber, basalt, or titanium.
Together with our customers, we are constantly developing new ideas for using our unique knitting systems. Our goal is to offer every customer worldwide high product quality, optimum service, and innovative ideas and know-how in product development because innovation is a central corporate value for us today.
Our goal is to successfully combine traditional values such as quality and reliability with new technical developments, a modern working environment, and the ecological challenges of our time.
For us, innovation is not an empty term but a lived company reality. Above all, it is not just theory but a daily practice. The best example of this: We manufacture the machines with which we process our numerous materials in-house. This makes us highly flexible and fast. And it enables us to develop new, modern products for the market. Even though we currently manufacture most of our products for the automotive industry, the potential applications for technical meshes are virtually unlimited. So why not talk to us about it?
Our most valuable assets are the 40 employees we have trained in our company. Many of them have been with us for decades. Thanks to their passion for BUCK technical meshes and their high level of professional expertise, they have successfully realized many innovative projects. And they work passionately every day to meet and exceed our customers' expectations.
Location with tradition: We feel at home in the Swabian town of Bondorf. Not only is our BuckLAB located here, where we experiment with new materials and develop prototypes, but also numerous manufacturing facilities from our own development and production. Our employees on site manage series deliveries, manage logistics and organization, and take care of customers enquiries. With the construction of our new factory and warehouse, we have also sent a clear signal towards the future.
The American market appreciates technical know-how from Germany more than ever. That's why we established our location in South Carolina, BUCK Enterprises LLC in Blythewood, in 1996. We also regularly exchange ideas with American experts there. In this way, we constantly gain new impressions that give our customers and us in Germany a competitive advantage - but also the other way around.
As we said, the applications of technical mesh are surprisingly diverse. For example, you can also get handmade fashion accessories from stainless steel wire from us. Would you like to attract attention with our stainless-steel bow tie, or do you want to amaze your guests in the future with your new Bottle Jack - the matching jacket for your wine bottle?
